Recommended Products

Here's a short, curated selection of products that I personally use in my work, and can highly recommend:

ACRYLIC PAINT
To paint on my plaster pebbles, I use good quality outdoor acrylic paints from Arteza.

PAINT PENS
POSCA are the brand of paint pens I use. They come in loads of colours and a few different thicknesses.

DOTTING PAINT
The best thickness of paints I've found for dotting mandalas on stones is the Decoart Americana range.

VARNISH
I personally like a super glossy finish, so use this varnish from Liquitex. They also do matte and satin versions.

GELLI PRINTING
I've had the 6x6 inch Gelli Arts printing plate for over 10 years and it's still going strong!  Other sizes are available too. I can highly recommend them. Don't forget you'll also need a brayer/roller.

PAINT FOR IMAGE TRANSFER
I have done a lot of experimenting over the years, and have found heavy body acrylics, like these from Castle Art give the best results if you want to try the gelli print transfer technique.
